The Rules of Sap

1. We don't want to see "Brandy" by Looking Glass on this list. "Brandy" is art, not sap.
2. At first glance, it might seem that anything by the group Bread belongs on this list. Not so. Bread transcends sap.
3. Likewise, everything the Carpenters ever wrote might appear to be perfect for inclusion. Not true. Trust us.
4. The song "California Dreaming" by The Mamas and the Papas is angst, not sap.
5. There is no Rule 5.
6. Don't even think about classifying Simon and Garfunkel as sap.
7. The SAP get to change the rules anytime they want.
8. Some folks might say these rules are arbitrary. Those folks would be right.
